Halloween Survival Tip # 584

Another fantastic and fully customizable Halloween card availble from SendOutCards.  I think I'll send this one to my daughters Coral and France and my sister Roslyn.

Contact me and I'll send one to you too! Or, I'll help you create your own that you can send to anyone you want (for FREE!).

Halloween Greeting Cards

SendOutCards has some really cool greeting cards for 2010. Here's one I customized using a few of the many clipart elements available in the SOC library.

I'll actually be sending more cards after Halloween after I've taken pictures of all the little rug rats who come knocking at my door.

The Art of the Pitch

I have no problems creating and sending greeting cards with the SendOutCards system.  I've managed to send an average of a card a day for the past year.  I also don't have a problem learning everything there is to know about my SOC business. However, when it comes to attracting new customers and distributors, I notice that when I keep it simple and consistent I have far more success than when I go off script and try to wing it.  So I've created this simple three part "screenplay" (which is based on the SOC Fast Start Plan) that I'll adhere to in the future.

Here's part 1 - The Invitation - this works best after you've sent a card to the prospect.

Here's part 2 - The Presentation - just have your prospect watch the video and show them how to send a card.

Here's part 3 - The Follow-up - not everyone will be ready to join right away so stay in touch if they're interested. (And don't be a pest!)

Sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission - the case of the purloined Facebook photo - continued

This is my friend Denise Barnes.  She's was kind enough to allow me to use her glamorous photo (after I "borrowed" it from her Facebook page without her permission) to advertise my wholesale greeting cards business.  In return I surprised her by creating a portrait of her which I sent to her on a card.  She loves it! Happy Meal - $2.00, Greeting Card - $1.00, Memories - Priceless!

I was working on something at work today and my cell phone rang and it was from my beautiful Marine Corp daughter Cora Luque.  She was sharing with me a photo (something we've been doing a lot lately since I got my new phone). What a pleasant surprise--it was a picture of my handsome grandson Ivan, Jr.  It really made my day and I was prompted to send a copy of it to my mom and step-dad down in Florida. Now, they are not totally technologically illiterate; they have a computer and cell phones and all but sometimes they're so busy with  real life stuff (like gardening and travel) that they don't get all the other important stuff (i.e., pictures of great grand kids) that gets attached to the emails, the blog posts, and the tweets.  So...I sent them a card!  A real card that will be delivered to their REAL mailbox in just a few days.

Gary Z...still rockin' after all these years.

This is my childhood friend Gary Z. Gary has always loved making music and I was happy to connect with him on Facebook after more than 30 years and learn that he is still making music. This is a wholesale greeting card I sent him a few weeks ago.  Check out his music video Cash Money and My Rosa.

Multi-lingual greeting cards are fantástico!

My grandson Ivan appears on many of the greeting cards that I send, including the Spanish language card below.  SendOutCards is the only software application that I know of that allows you to create cards in several languages including French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.

I created this card for my daughter Coral after she got home from Iraq. What a brave girl! I'm so proud of her!

This is a wholesale greeting card I created announcing to friends and family that my Grandson Brandon had turned two months old. I was able to send this card to multiple recipients for $1.06 each. He's 4 months old now so it's time to create a send another card!

Making it easy to send new baby announcments...

My wholesale greeting cards makes it easy to send new baby announcments. Here's my grandson Brandon. Isn't he cute? This card cost $1.06 to create and send from my computer (31 cents for the card + 31 cents to add the picture + 44 cents postage = $1.06).  It doesn't get any easier, faste or cheaper to send a wholesale greeting card.

Never forget...

This card is available in the SendOutCards catalog. I regret not realizing this sooner.

If you're not using SOC to make your own invitations you're probably paying too much.

Everyone wants a copy of this greeting card...

I created this wholesale greeting card and sent it to a few people and now everyone wants a copy. Thank goodness it costs less than $1.50 to create and send (postage included).

Sometimes I feel like a nut...sometimes I don't...right now I do.

I feel like the little kid in Poltergeist when I look at this. Anyway I found this template and couldn't resist using it to send a wholesale greeting card to someone that I haven't spoken to in a while.  This is another great yet simple template that can be used in so many cool ways. Oh boy, the wheels are spinning inside my brain.

Do you need more referrals for your photo biz?

Here's a nice wholesale greeting card template that can be used to promote your photography business.  Your customers will proudly display your handiwork and you're sure to get repeat business and maybe even a few referrals!

A moment of silence...

My wife screamed...I came running..."what's wrong?" I asked...

Turns out that my daughter sent us pictures of my grandson Ivan getting his first haircut in a long time. After I calmed her down, I created a huge wholesale greeting card and sent it to my daughter and my son in law via my SendOutCards account. It was a fun project to work on.

Special Delivery!

I just stumbled upon some really cool templates and clipart in the SendOutCards Picture Plus 2.0 library.  The only thing missing from this wholesale greeting card is the stork!  My daughter is really going to appreciate this postcard when she opens her mailbox this weekend.

Don't forget the precious little rug rats in your life...

I sent this to my grandson Ivan.  Getting ready to send a princess themed one to my granddaughter Aaliyah and my niece Elhani.  These wholesale greeting cards are a lot of fun to send.  Why not be the one they always remember? Contact me if you want to send one for free.

SendOutCards Makes it So Easy to Say I Love You;

One of the things I like most about SendOutCards is that it allows me to quickly and easily create custom wholesale greeting cards using basic drag and drop technology.  No special skills are needed.  Just upload the digital image of your choice and drag it from the picture tray into the card.  These cards don’t get thrown away.  They may get “put away” but they’ll never be thrown away.

Never forget a birthday again…

This is one of my favorite wholesale greeting cards.  Too me, it gets to the heart of what SendOutCards is all about.

Are you keeping an eye on your bottom line...

I decide to see how long it would take to send a wholesale greeting card to a friend thanking him for hiring me to do some design work. It took about 3 minutes and cost less than $1.00.  Had I gone to the store for a card and the post office for a stamp it woud have cost about $3.50.  If I take lost time into consideration (at the conservative rate of $50 per hour) it really would have cost much more.  If you're a business person with an eye on your bottom line make sure you do your research when it's time to choose your wholesale greeting cards provider.

Every Serious (and not so serious) Photographer Needs This...

With SendOutCards I was able to create and send this custom wholesale greeting card to a photographer friend of mine who does a lot of weddings. The front of the card features a product from a company called Diamond Ice.  They specialize in taking digital photos and infusing them in glass.  Amazing technology and an amazing product.

The inside of the card is a 2 panel full bleed; something I was able to accomplish quite easily using the SendOutCards Pictur Plus 2.0 software.  Amazing technology and an amazing product.  Hard to believe I was able to create and send this card in 5 minutes and it cost less than $1.50 (postage included).

Happy Labor Day--End of Summer Love Card

This Wholesale Greeting Cards company is amazing!  I was able to customize every aspect of this card to my customer's specifications.  The background, the borders, the buttons, the butterfly, and the bee--and the possibilities are endless.  I sent this as a postcard for 62 cents (postage included) and it should arrive at his home in just a few days.  I set up a free account in his name so if he wants to make any changes he can and then he can send it to anyone he wants (for about a dollar).  It only took 15 minutes to create and send the card.  No special skills are required--it's all drag and drop.  Man, I'm ready for my next project!
